KMIS Membership
Becoming a member of KMIS offers a number of benefits, including the privilege to publish articles in the journals published by KMIS and being invited to attend various seminars hosted by the Society.
Membership Categories
There are several classes of membership: regular member, lifelong member, student member, corporation(group) member, library member, and online member. Qualifications for each membership categories are as follows:
① Regular Members
Individuals holding the bachelor's or advanced degrees in MIS or related disciplines; or individuals having experience at research institutes, industry, or academe in MIS or related disciplines, who pay the annual fee
② Lifelong Members
Individuals who are regular members and make a lump sum payment of ten times the annual fee
③ Student Members
Students who are currently studying MIS or related disciplines in the course of graduate schools and pay the annual fee.
④ Corporation (Group) Members
Corporations or Groups that support the objectives of the Society and pay the annual fee. Each Corporation or Group is allowed to register up to 5 persons and a person of those is eligible to be a representative.
⑤ Library Members
Libraries that support the objectives of the Society and pay the annual fee.
⑥ Online Members
Members who have only joined online (homepage) without paying the annual fee, or whose dues have lapsed.
