▣ Facilitator ▣

• Pre-Paper Session
-- Download the papers from the KMIS website (http://www.kmis.or.kr/)
-- Read all three papers
-- Develop a common theme and future research area around these papers
..... (some of this may change as a result of author’s presentation)
---- May want to consider generating a question for each paper
-- Specific comments to papers are welcomed, though not required
-- Become familiar with pre-established timeline

• During Paper Session
-- At the start of the paper session, remind everyone about the importance of adhering to pre-established timeline
--- 10-minute presentation by author
--- 8-minute Q&A and discussion
-- Direct first author to present making sure that the author will be stopped after 10 minutes
-- Facilitate Q&A (if there are no participants, then start off with a question developed earlier)
-- After 18 minutes, move on to second paper and repeat the process

• Post-Paper Session (i.e., after 54 minutes into the session)
-- Present common theme and future research area around the three papers (additional insight obtained during presentation could be incorporated)
-- Wrap it up

▣ Authors ▣

• Pre-Paper Session
-- Prepare a one to two page document to be distributed to your table participants (seven copies should be sufficient)
-- You are given no more than 10 minutes to present; focus on research questions, research model, results, and findings/implications

• During Paper Session
-- Monitor your presentation so as not to go over 10 minutes
-- Get started right away
-- Do not offer questions during your presentation; instead, wait until end of 10 minutes

▣ Participants ▣

• Pre-Paper Session
-- Download the papers from the KMIS website (http://www.kmis.or.kr/)
-- Read the other papers
--- Generate two questions relevant to each paper – one around theoretical development and one around methods
-- Offer written comments (perhaps to give to the authors)
-- Be sure to bring your printed copy of the papers
• During Paper Session
-- Allow the first 10 minutes for the author to present without interruption
-- During the remaining 8 minutes, pose your questions
-- Constructive criticism is the goal which aims to improve the overall quality of the papers
